Alvin O’Neil McCray

With over 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing, Alvin O’Neil McCray is a seasoned brand strategist and communications executive with a track record of leading high-impact campaigns and product launches at top global agencies, including Ogilvy & Publicis Healthcare. His expertise spans pharmaceutical, tobacco, and consumer brands, where he has driven strategic growth and innovative market positioning.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Alvin is deeply committed to mentorship and advocacy. He actively provides career guidance to professionals in advertising and brand development while serving on the Boards of Family Equality—the nation’s leading nonprofit advancing equality for LGBTQ+ families—and Native Son, a platform dedicated to empowering Black Gay men.

Alvin holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.Sc. in Strategic Communication from Purdue University. Additionally, he is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, bringing a unique creative perspective to his leadership in marketing and brand storytelling.
